Living Art is pleased to announce that we now provide 2 week training courses.

TATTOO COURSE INFORMATION

Living Art provides a 2 week intensive tattoo training course that has been designed to be interesting and informative.  Places are restricted to 4 students with 2 instructors.  One of the instructors – Buddy owns the very successful Living Art Tattoo studio for over 19 years.  The tattoo course offers one to one tuition with the advantage of learning to work in a small team of tattooists just like a professional tattoo studio.
The tattoo course takes place off site, in a mock up of Living Art Tattoo studio and each student will also spend some time in Living art Tattoo studio to experience what its like to work in an efficient and busy tattoo studio.
Each day of the tattoo course is structured in a similar way to other establishments of further education, which includes a prompt start of 10am, finishing at 5pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturday is a full day spent in a tattoo studio.
All students are expected to give their best efforts during the tattoo course.  If the tattoo course time is used well, students are guaranteed to leave the tattoo course with a far greater artistic competence than when they arrived.
During the tattoo course, students will learn all about setting up a tattooists workstation, hygiene standards and procedures and tattoo machine mechanics.  Students will also practice drawing, tracing, e.t.c. and will tattoo a skin substitute.  Students will also advance to actually tattooing either themselves or an adult model if they have someone suitable to bring along.
Talks are given on how to go about setting up a professional tattoo studio, finding the best location for a tattoo studio and all matters relating to running a tattoo studio, including expert advice on maintaining a tattoo business including all the tricks of the trade and details are provided about all the best tattoo suppliers, which is not to be under estimated as we have tried and trusted many different suppliers over the past 19 years, and it has taken many years and a lot of money to find the best suppliers

ADVANCED TATTOO COURSE
This course has been designed for budding tattooists who have knowledge of tattooing but would like to know the finer details of tattooing and the latest techniques of shading, colouring, machine running, maintenance & repair and up to date tricks of the trade.
This course is ideal for students who have already completed our 2 week course and wish to hone their tattooing skill to the next level.
This course also suits tattooists who are returning to tattooing after a break or even tattooists who need to progress.
Please contact Living art for dates as this is carried out on a 1-1 basis at the tattoo studio.
COURSE FEE: 1 Day €300

Living Art does not guarantee that by completing one of its courses, or receiving a Living Art Certificate, students will necessarily qualify for an actual job as a professional tattooist of body piercer, that will depend entirely on each students capabilities.  However Living Art Tattoo studio offers expert advice to help each student achieve their goal.
Please note that accommodation is not included in the price of any of the courses, but it can be arranged for you at  a local B&B if required.  Also Living Art Tattoo studio can travel worldwide if necessary to tend courses.  Please contact studio for details.
€250 deposits are required for courses.  Courses must be paid in full 2 weeks before course starting date.

Buddy, the owner of the tattoo studio, who has trained many tattoo apprentices over the years has decided after many years of training hopeful tattoo apprentices away, that he is going to open the doors and give a leg up to budding tattooists by offering to give them the necessary help and valuable knowledge in an intensive tattoo course, which will take place in a classroom environment.  Monday through to Saturdays. 
These tattoo courses are not meant to replace traditional tattoo apprenticeships, but anyone who has tried to get into this tattoo business understands how extremely difficult it is.  With this tattoo course you get the information and knowledge to become a great tattooist.  There will be limited spaces for each semester and local accommodation can be arranged.

The tattoo course involves an A – Z of tattooing and you will also get the knowledge and the confidence to push forward with your chosen career.
The tatto course is available to both Irish tattoo students and foreign tattoo students. Tattoo students from England, France, Wales, Scotland, Germany, Greece, Sweeden, Norway, Denmak, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland and Russia have attended our tattoo classes. As well as tattoo students from outside Europe.
